IRVINGTON, NJ - Essex Grassroots Tennis & Education Inc. (EGTE) is offering a new tennis program at Irvington Park to provide growth and development of the sport of tennis.
In 2017 EGTE began offering tennis program in conjunction with the city of East Orange in a program that used fun, friends, form and player development to help build the foundation for future success in tennis and in life. Registration has already begun for the 2018 summer tennis camp ,July 9-August 17,2018. The program is for children ages 5-16 years old.
The program is managed by Director of Tennis and player development.PTR /USTA HP Coach
Samuel Inalegwu. T-shirts,Racquet and tennis Balls will be provided for participants for free.

They operate on three basic principles; Access, Affordability and Opportunity. Educational programs and guidance augment the teaching in school through homework assistance and encouraging competency in mathematics and literacy. After school academic initiative programs are designed to support and encourage academic achievement, health, wellness, and strengthen life skills.
