It’s That Time Again: August 20th is the 8th Annual Summer Jam Music Fest at Elmwood Park


EAST ORANGE, NJ - Summer Jam is undoubtedly one of the better attended events in the parks all year. It has grown over the last several years from hundreds to thousands; and it is the hope of the hosts to continue its growth. 

Third Ward City Council Members Councilwoman Quilla E. Talmadge and Council Chairman Ted Green, in addition to Fourth Ward Council Members, Councilwoman Tyshammie L. Cooper and Councilman Casim Gomez, are inviting all residents from East Orange and surrounding communities to join them at the East Orange Summer Jam Festival which will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2016 in Elmwood Park.  

This will be the 8th Annual Summer Jam Festival highlighting local talent in addition to the very best in house music, jazz, gospel, reggae and hip-hop.  Recent headliners have been Ten City and Blue Magic. This year’s featured performers include Deep River, The New Moments, Kenny Bobien, Joe Branch and many more with featured DJs DJ Mooky, DJ J-Hunter and DJ Que.
