Jersey Cash 5 Ticket Wins $154,218 Jackpot in East Orange

EAST ORANGE, NJ – One Essex County ticket matched all five numbers for the Jersey Cash 5 game drawn on Monday, March 28 winning the $154,218 jackpot. The ticket was purchased at Victory Wine & Liquors, 457 Central Avenue, East Orange in Essex County.

Executive Director Carole Hedinger said the top prizewinning ticket was the only one sold for Monday’s drawing that matched all five numbers drawn. The winning numbers were: 06, 12, 26, 30 and 35.

“We are pleased that the winning jackpot ticket was sold at Victory Wine & Liquors,” said Hedinger. “For selling this ticket, the retailer will receive a bonus check for $2,000. Overnight, it has become one more ‘lucky location’ for the very fortunate lottery winner.”

Hedinger also noted that 2,322 other players won $65,724 in cash prizes in the Monday drawing. For correctly picking four numbers, 57 players won cash prizes of $557 each, and for correctly matching three numbers, 2,265 players won $15.00 each.

2nd Annual Love & Not Hate March Today in East Orange

EAST ORANGE, NJ - This morning the Rev. Al Sharpton will join East Orange Mayor Ted Green for their 2nd Annual Love & Not Hate March against gun violence at 8:00 AM.
