EAST ORANGE, NJ - Summer is fast approaching and we are excited to bring the East Orange community a great mix of special programs and enrichment activities to keep you and your family active and engaged all season long!
I am extremely excited that the City of East Orange, along with our partner The Arts Council of East Orange, will be presenting the 3rd Annual East Orange MACFest on Saturday, June 17, between 12pm-9pm, at East Orange City Hall Plaza! The city's signature music, arts and cultural festival has continued to grow every year and this year is no exception!
We've got a dynamic lineup that includes Grammy-Award nominated artists Eric Roberson, Bilal, and Syleena Johnson. Our special guest host is AJ Calloway and our Lower Main Street area will be transformed into an eclectic Arts Marketplace with over 100 vendors from throughout the Tri-State and D.C. areas, a Kids Korner with Juneteenth-inspired activities and showcase, the Montclair Art Museum Art Truck, Pink Dragon Pop-Up Printmaking Workshop, a host of DJs, featured local and regional acts and much, much more!
Admission is free and all are welcome. This is one event you won't want to miss!
Under the leadership of our dedicated TEAM E.O. staff, the Department of Recreation & Cultural Affairs is offering six different summer camps and a variety of sports clinics and enrichment programs throughout the summer.
