EAST ORANGE, NJ - Mayor Lester Taylor and the City of East Orange will once again join Nassan’s Place, for their 2nd Annual Autism Walk. Nassan’s Place is a local nonprofit advocating for autism awareness, under the direction of Nadine Wright-Arbubakrr, the organization’s president 

April is Autism Awareness Month and we are just two days away from the "2nd Annual Nassan 5K Walk for Autism" on Saturday, April 11th at Elmwood Park in East Orange, NJ. 

The day will be filled with community unity, Autism Awareness, and fun for the whole family.

Debbie DuHaime, who works as a traffic reporter with Total Traffic on 970 AM, The Answer on "The Joe Piscopo Show" and also fills in on Channel 7 Eyewitness News covering traffic will be the MC for the walk. Debbie is also the host of “Meet the Leaders” on Cablevision/Optimum Local in New Jersey. She also volunteers with many local and state organizations helping children and adults.

Nassan's Place is also looking for sponsorship, donations and volunteers for the "Inaugural Newark Walk Against Autism" on Saturday, April 25th at Weequahic Park in Newark.
