EAST ORANGE, NJ — Mayor Ted R. Green, along with Lt. Governor Sheila Oliver and Assemblywoman Britnee Timberlake, are proud to present African Exceptionalism and Culture featuring Imperial Majesty Oba Adeyeye Enitan Babatunde Ogunwusi Ojaja II, Nigerian King of the Yoruba people, who will be making a stop in East Orange on Friday July 27 at 10AM at 44 City Hall Plaza in East Orange.

All are invited to publicly welcome the king at City Hall, where the plaza will be transformed into an African-inspired marketplace.

Expected to be in attendance: Congressman Donald Payne, Lt. Governor Sheila Oliver, Assemblywoman Britnee Timberlake, Mayor Ted R. Green, East Orange City Council, African Diaspora Commission and Members of the Nigerian Community.
