ORANGE, NJ - A local student from Orange High School is one of the first recipients of an Amazon Future Engineer Scholarship – a $40,000 scholarship to study computer science at a university of their choosing and receive a paid internship at Amazon after their freshmen year of college (one of the only computer science programs to offer both a scholarship and an internship).

The student, Leo Jean Baptiste, is one of 100 high school senior students from underserved communities across the country that will receive this first ever scholarship.
