Panasonic Corp Partners with Nassan’s Place to Provide Sensory Friendly Photo Workshop for Youth Affected with Autism

EAST ORANGE, NJ - Nassan’s Place, in collaboration with the Panasonic Corporation has created a Sensory Friendly Photography Workshop for young people (ages 19 & under) affected with autism to experience the ‘great outdoors’ through photography. 

The event will convene at the Greater Newark Conservancy, 32 Prince St, Newark, on Thursday August 18, 2016 beginning at 10:30am.  All interested parties should contact Nadine Wright-Arbubakrr at 973-424-7781.

Autism is an urgent and growing public health crisis that affects most individuals across their lifespan and demands a commensurate level of action from both the public and private sectors. 

New Jersey has the highest rate of Autism in the country, 1 in 44.
