ORANGE, NJ - A collaboration between The City of Orange Township Police Department and The Department of Parole has led to the arrest of a dangerous fugitive in the City.

On Monday, May 14, fugitive Mark Williams was taken into custody without incident by officers of the Orange Police Department and the Department of Parole. In a letter to Orange Police Director Todd Warren, Captain William Small of the Division of Parole said, "I want to thank you and the entire Orange Police Department for their prompt and professional response to assist in taking parole fugitive Mark Williams into custody peacefully earlier today."

Mayor Warren remarked, "Swift action by our law enforcement officers to take a fugitive from justice off the streets of Orange sends a message to criminals: there is no safe place to hide in our community. Our law enforcement officers, partnering with officers from The Department of Parole, will continue to bring fugitives to justice."
