Today, I cast my cares out to sea. Every concern, problem, and worry is now insignificant compared to the power and beauty of our God. I am free.
Freedom means that I have options and choices. Today, I choose to be grateful for who I am; for who God made me to be. It does not matter that I may not have a car, a home, a plethora of friends, or material creature comforts. I have life. God’s Word says that He came to give us Life and Life more abundantly. As long as I have breath in my body, I will not only survive; I will thrive.
Dear God, Your Word says that I am the head and not the tail; above and not beneath. Your Word also says I shall lend and not borrow; and as a descendant of Abraham, my generations will be many. Thank You, God that I am able to breathe, that I am able to see, feel, hear, and touch. Thank you God for loving me. Thank You God for being my hedge of protection surrounding me and my house. As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord!
With Your divine guidance, I will move beyond where I am into the place and space You want me to be. Today, I am willing and open to become the person you have destined me to become. Today, I am grateful that I have You for a friend because I know that You will stick closer than a brother.
