EAST ORANGE, NJ - Leading up to his first 100 days in office, Mayor Ted Green has stated and done everything he could to make a significant difference between his style of governance and any of his predecessors.

One of his major main campaign promises was to continue to “Walk the Block”. Walking the block entails going door to door, engaging local residents in a specific area and gathering information that is promised to be forwarded to department heads for future implementation Thus far in his tenure the Mayor, he has continued to make this a mainstay of his administration.  His work has not gone unnoticed. Senator Corey Booker has been keeping an eye on Mayor Green and East Orange and recently tweeted his support.
