EAST ORANGE, NJ - Sierra House is hosting another grand gala at their home for local community members and friends. Sierra House is a transitional home for homeless young women and their babies; and they invite you to join them for their 8th Annual Spring Gardening Volunteer Event on this Saturday May 23, 2015. The Annual Spring Gardening Event is an opportunity for neighbors and supporters of Sierra House to come together and show their love for the work the agency is doing.

Keely Freeman the agency’s Executive Director, “Our goal is to let our neighbors know that the Sierra House truly cares about the community as a whole and is willing to do our part in maintaining its beauty. If you love gardening, here's a chance to get your hands dirty while having a bunch of fun! Volunteers will assist with mulching, weeding, planting flowers, and other activities.” 

The event will kick off at 10am with a light breakfast and end at 2pm with a barbecue lunch.
