Frozen Turkeys and Non-Perishable Food Items to be Given Out
ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — On Thursday, November 19, Essex County Executive Joseph N. DiVincenzo, Jr. and the Essex County Board of Chosen Freeholders will present a special Thanksgiving Emergency Food Distribution Event to help families negatively impacted by the coronavirus pandemic. There will be 1,500 frozen turkeys and boxes of non-perishable food distributed at each event. The program is meant to benefit families who have been affected by the pandemic economy.
The Thanksgiving Emergency Food Distribution will be held as follows:

560 Northfield Avenue, West Orange, NJ
The next Thanksgiving food distribution will be Nov. 24 in Branch Brook Park, Newark.
