The ChangeMakers Radio Show Invites some Talent from: Dear Jersey: The Empowerment Tour


EAST ORANGE, NJ - The ChangeMakers Radio Show  this Saturday will have as their special guest,  Dear Jersey- The Empowerment Tour. Dear Jersey is a Multi-Genre Music tour built to empower and Influence individuals through performance arts. 

Dear Jersey is unique, creative, and versatile, and includes new and seasoned talent. They partner with Eyes Like Mine; a non profit organization that empowers and promotes awareness around vision loss. Their DJ, co-host, and one of the performers are all either visually impaired/ or completely blind. 

In an effort to strengthen the outreach of Eyes Like Mine, a portion of ticket sales from the “Dear Jersey”- Empowerment Tour will be donated to the organization.

Dear Jersey is also working with the Covenant House of Newark, NJ to involve their youth members to play a part in the tour. Since 1989, Covenant House New Jersey has been providing food, shelter, immediate crisis care, and an array of other important services to homeless, runaway and trafficked youth between the ages of 18-21. Today there are 21 Covenant House locations in the USA, Canada and Latin America. The Covenant House serves more than 56,000 homeless young people each year.
