EAST ORANGE, NJ - Essex County Executive Joseph N. DiVincenzo, Jr. announced that East Orange residents Lester James Johnson and Meredith Hillman received awards in the Annual Essex County Senior Citizens Juried Art Show. Johnson received second place in the Professional Sculpture Category for “Four Hearts Mask.” Hillman received an honorable mention in the Overall Category for “Rutgers Street.” The artists were recognized during an awards ceremony on Monday, August 29th at the Essex County Hospital Center in Cedar Grove.
