ORANGE, NJ — HANDS, a long-standing nonprofit housing organization in Orange is encouraging people to apply for a home improvement program. As a part of their mission, HANDS aspires to help lead in revitalizing neighborhoods. This program is seeking to turn that aspiration of revitalizing into a reality by helping individual homeowners fix their homes. There will only be 10 homeowners awarded, and they must live in the “Heart of Orange” which is in the area bound by Scotland Road, Central Avenue, Main Street, and the Boarder of East Orange. Interested Orange homeowners should e-mail Brylan Hoover-Hankerson for more information.
