EAST ORANGE, NJ — As we promote fire prevention and safety during Fire Prevention Month, the City of East Orange’s Fire Division is proud to announce that it has been awarded more than $300,000 from federal and private grants to greatly increase health and safety measures for residents and firefighters, including the launch of the city’s first Hearing Impaired Smoke Alarm Campaign.
