Arts For Kids 4th Annual "Not Just Jazz & BBQ Fundraiser"

You are cordially invited to our Jazz and BBQ fundraiser celebrating our mission of providing meaningful arts-in-education opportunities for students, educators and communities in the state of NJ. Our honorees this year are AFK Board member Desiree Gordon, a Montclair, NJ native and S. Orange resident, Bassist, Producer and Art Advocate John Lee, who is the Director of The Dizzy Gillespie Alumni All Star Bands as well as the founder of "The Giants of Jazz" annual celebration at SOPAC.

Entertainment provided by Grammy award winning Pianist and Producer Nat Adderley Jr. and his trio and The Vince Ector Quartet featuring Tap sensation Maurice Chestnut.

Nonprofits Hold Meet & Greet Golf Outing This Monday at East Orange Golf Course

EAST ORANGE, NJ - On Monday, October 15, 2018 the recently formed Non Profit Network of East Orange will be hosting a meet and greet event for local nonprofits that serve the East Orange community. 

The event will begin at 11:00 am with a greeting by East Orange Mayor Ted Green; followed by a few informative speakers and nonprofit professionals offering support and important information.
