It is reported that in August of 1619, a ship arrived onto these shores bearing 20 enslaved Africans. The ship docket in Point Comfort, Virginia and we, America, has never been the same.

400 years later we pay homage to those 20 and the hundreds of thousands who fought and died that we might be. We invite you to take a journey with us. A Journey back across the seas.
