East Orange City Council Presents Free Workshop on Financial Empowerment, Management and Stability
EAST ORANGE, NJ —The East Orange City Council is joining with the National Association of Black Accountants to Present "The Evolution of the Black Dollar," a free workshop on Saturday, February 8, 2020. The workshop will be held at 315 South Harrison Street in East Orange from 10 a.m. — 1 p.m. Refreshments will be served.
The workshop is being hosted by Third Ward Councilman Bergson Leneus and will include Jacob Walthour who will talk about Asset Management, Irving Cham will talk about Real Estate and Michael Stewart will focus on Wealth Management. According to Councilman Leneus, this is an essential workshop for anyone who wants to create the framework for a strong financial foundation. He said, "We are bringing together some of the region's successful financial managers who lay the groundwork for you to succeed financially whether in investments, real estate or in any area."
The topics that will be discussed will focus on four specific areas; 1) Building Wealth As Minorities, 2) Unlocking your Financial Power, 3) Creating Financial Stability & Independence and 4) Empowering our Community. According to co-hosts, the National Association of Black Accountants, Northern New Jersey Chapter, these are some of the essential areas that should be part of your plan for creating and maintaining wealth.
