Independence: A Family of Services - East Orange Family Success Center

A Family of Services is a 46-year-old multi service community organization that has operated the East Orange Family Success Center (EOFSC) for over 36 years and has worked with over 3,500 families in the last decade. IFS Directors and staff in the EOFSC have worked with neighborhood residents to address the many elements required to help families thrive.  Working with families who are living at or below the poverty level demands a great deal of organization and creativity.  The staff has consistently sought and established partnerships that benefit the families it serves.  In its work the staff has also documented the needs of the community and identified emerging trends.
