The purpose of the one week STEM program is to introduce middle school students to a wide-variety of aviation careers -- in aeronautics, air traffic control, and computer science -- through special behind-the-scenes tours of major aviation facilities in the New York /New Jersey region.  There are more airplanes closer together in New York and New Jersey than anywhere on earth.  Young participants will be inspired to witness these operations up-close and to meet the professionals responsible for achieving flight safety.

Activities will include:

+  Tour of JFK International Airport

+  Visit to FAA Research & Development Labs

+  Realistic Flight simulators

+  Robotics Laboratory Demos

+  And an opportunity to fly a plane with an instructor

Space is available but limited to 20 students.

Cost is $50 and lunch will be provided.

For application information, contact Eagle Flight, Executive Director, Michael Chisholm at michael@eagleflightsquadron.com, 973-674-3580 or Camp Director, David Hubbard at 973-280-7189, davidhub@gmail.com.
