SUMMIT, NJ – Kent Place School is pleased to announce that five of its Upper School students were awarded a Certificate of Accomplishment by the Princeton Prize in Race Relations Committee for Northern New Jersey. Juniors Aneela Kanhai of Orange, Yves Millien of Bloomfield and sophomore Lily Roberts of South Orange were awarded for their joint planning and presentation of assemblies on race at Kent Place School; and seniors Lena Anglin of Plainfield and Babi Oloko of Berkeley Heights were awarded for their leadership as part of STAR (Strong Teens Against Racism).

The Princeton Prize in Race Relations was established by Princeton University in order “to promote harmony, respect, and understanding among people of different races by identifying and recognizing high school age students whose efforts have had a significant, positive effect on race relations in their schools or communities.”
