(EAST ORANGE/ORANGE) - Libretti's Restaurant located at 554 Nassau Street in Orange is pleased to announce their reopening since COVID-19. Starting today, April 24, at 1 PM – 7:30 PM and every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday after, the restaurant is getting back to doing what they do best, providing delicious homemade Italian food throughout the Oranges since 1950.
Libretti's owner, Danny Lazzara, is offering delivery to any location only for healthcare workers, essential workers, or for those who are grieving the loss of a loved one, all other orders must be picked up curbside or ordered through door dash. In a message of thanks to those on the front lines, Dawn and Danny Lazzara said, “Thank you to the healthcare workers for your brave sacrifice as you selfishly fight for our lives and those we love. Thank you to our essential workers for your dedication in service to our community, keeping us connected and strong."
Danny has taken Libretti's Restaurant to new heights while maintaining the charm and elegance that has made this restaurant successful for over 60 years. He has been the owner of Libretti's for 18 years and continues to uphold the traditional family-style atmosphere. Due to COVID, Danny is facing new challenges as a small business owner. Like most restaurants, he is working hard to keep the business afloat using creative strategies. After the pandemic passes, the goal is to fully reopen the restaurant so people will still be able to enjoy Libretti's fun atmosphere, weekend live entertainment, karaoke, and specialty drinks paired with delicious food.
If you can afford to, ordering take-out food from the places you would have eaten at had COVID-19 not occurred, could financially save the restaurant industry in our towns along with their employees. Can you imagine Orange and East Orange without Libretti's?
Libretti's new hours of operation are: 1 PM -7:30 PM Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
