East Orange Celebrates the Grand Opening of Par 440 Restaurant & Lounge at Our Golf Course in Short Hills

EAST ORANGE, NJ - The fruition of Mayor Lester Taylor’s multi-year vision of making the East Orange Golf Course at Short Hills playable, popular and profitable came into full view last Friday night with a grand opening celebration at the newly opened, Par 440 Restaurant & Lounge.

Throngs of happy East Orange residents, City Council members, municipal employees and well-wishers attended the joyous celebration.

Located in the Township of Millburn, the golf course had been undergoing an extensive renovation by highly acclaimed golf course architect, Stephen Kay. Kay, designed such New Jersey gems as Blue Heron Pines, Harbor Pines, Scotland Run and The Architect’s Club. He was supported by an expert team consisting of golf course superintendent Juan Casiano, Turco Golf Construction, Maser Engineering and Marziani & Associates Architects.
