East Orange Invites the Community to Help Plan the Future in Master Plan Workshop Series

EAST ORANGE, NJ - The City of East Orange held the first city-wide Master Plan Workshop Wednesday March 8th at East Orange General Hospital. By all accounts this first event was a success with more than 80 participants in attendance; however the goal of the city is to ascertain information and encourage participation from every sector of the community.

The Master Planning process is under the direction of the Department of Policy Planning & Development; part of that process is the full engagement of the community for their active input in visioning the city's future. This will be facilitated by a series of interactive workshops over the next several weeks.  All community members are invited to attend and share their thoughts.

The following is an update on the remaining Master Plan Workshops.
