Prominent NJ Pastor to Preach Fall Revival at New Hope Baptist in East Orange Church

EAST ORANGE, NJ – The distinguished Rev. Jerry M. Carter, Jr., Ph.D., senior pastor of the Calvary Baptist Church of Morristown, New Jersey, will be the guest revivalist for New Hope Baptist Church of East Orange’s Annual Fall Revival during a three-night celebration.

Services will be held from Monday, September 18 to Wednesday, September 20 at 7 p.m. nightly.

As a speaker and author, Rev. Carter has been a lecturer at Hampton University Ministries’ Conference, a national event - hosted annually - designed to provide a setting to academically stimulate and spiritually enrich ministers. Revival is an opportunity for Christians to revitalize their spiritual beliefs in the gospel and renew their support of the church. “This event brings our community together in our common faith and reminds us of our commitment to discipleship. We believe the gospel is not simply a set of facts, but a way of life,” explained Rev. Gill.
