EDISON, NJ – The Annual Holocaust Memorial Program will be hosted by the Metuchen-Edison Area Interfaith Clergy Association and the Jewish Community Center of Middlesex County along with the Jewish Community Relations Council of the Jewish Federation of Greater Middlesex County.
The annual program will take place on April 15 beginning at 7:30 p.m. at the JCC of Middlesex located at 1775 Oak Tree Road, Edison.
The annual program coincides with National Days of Remembrance observance from April 12-19.
The internationally recognized date for Holocaust Remembrance Day corresponds to the 27th day of Nisan on the Hebrew calendar. It marks the anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising. In Hebrew, Holocaust Remembrance Day is called Yom Hashoah.
