Arun Bhatnagar Joins JFK as Business Development Leader

JFK is pleased to announce that Arun Bhatnagar has joined us as Business Development Leader. His wealth of experience in business development will help JFK grow through innovative and strategic marketing strategies, creative outreach initiatives and focused awareness campaigns. He is a NJ State licensed Certified Assisted Living Administrator.

Born in India into a family of engineers, he went to a private Catholic Missionary School, run by Divine Fathers Mission in Orissa, where besides academics, he was involved in sports, playing in his school cricket and football team and volunteering in outreach initiatives to improve the lives of tribal people.

After leaving school, he went on to do his B.Tech in Mechanical engineering. While in college, his passion for charitable work continued. He was an active member of Rotary Club (Youth Wing) and past president of Jaycees Youth Club, fundraising for various social causes.

After college, he worked as an engineer for Atlas Copco in Mumbai and later moved to Canada and worked for large corporation like Cummins, Grove Cranes and Thomas Equipment in senior management positions in business development. His community work in Canada continued. He was a Board Member at the City of Brampton Arts Council, bringing awareness of Indian Arts and Culture to Brampton. He is the founder of Swar Vihar, an organization that promotes Music and major concerts with artists like Jagjit Singh and Amit Kumar. He is also credited with “Swar Vihar – The Singing Competition” the first children singing competition, on the lines of Sa Ra Ga Ma to Canada.

In 2005, he moved to USA and joined Tampa Bay Consultants LLC, an IT R&D company, with a vision to build software products. The company also provides consulting services in areas related to Big Data.

Applications to Rutgers Jump Nearly 10 Percent; Increase from Out-of-State Students

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ - Applications to Rutgers University this year increased 9.4 percent over last year, university President Robert Barchi told the Board of Governors at a meeting this week.
