‘Back 2 School 4-on-4 Basketball Tournament’ to Benefit Area Students

PISCATAWAY, NJ – Join Piscataway native and former NFL football player John “JD” Griggs for the Back 2 School 4-on-4 basketball tournament and school supply giveaway.

The event will be held on Saturday, Aug. 26th at Piscataway High School, 100 Behmer Road from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.

The tournament will feature 32 teams with 4-6 players each and all students in attendance will receive a selection of school supplies in time for the start of the new school year.

“This 4-on-4 basketball tournament is a fun community and competitive event that will help give back to the school system by giving away free school supplies,” said John “JD” Griggs, the owner and founder of Elites custom shoe company.

Griggs has partnered with Basketball Society, Ucyphe and Bishop Ahr High School’s head basketball coach, Darius Griffin to organize the event.

The tournament is open to players 18 and over. Teams can register at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/back-2-school-4-on-4-basketball-tournament-tickets-36218952863. Single players will be added to incomplete rosters as necessary.
