Boys Basketball: J.P. Stevens Beats Edison, 47-33

EDISON, NJ - The J.P. Stevens boys basketball team defeated crosstown rival Edison, 47-33, on Tuesday night at J.P. Stevens' gym.

The Hawks (4-4) took command with a 10-0 run in the third quarter to take a 30-21 lead.

Kasi Hazzard and Tyrese Conover each scored 12 points for J.P. Stevens, which added to its lead with a 17-12 effort in the fourth quarter. Elisha Smith finished with 11 points in the victory.

Jaymin Vakharia and Christian Wantong each scored 10 points for Edison (2-7).
