CRANFORD, NJ - The J.P. Stevens boys basketball team finished with a surge to defeat Cranford, 63-49, on Saturday.

The Hawks (3-4) closed out the game with a 26-13 spree which extended a 37-36 edge they held after three quarters.

Tyrese Conover finished with 18 points and four assists for J.P. Stevens. Elisha Smith totaled 12 points in the victory, and Solomon Smith had nine points, five rebounds and three assists.
