Edison, NJ - Camp Invention, a program run through the National Inventors Hall of Fame (NILF), will be coming to John P Stevens High School. The camp runs from July 29 through August 2, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. The camp is open to children entering grades 1-6 in September.
According to its website, Camp Invention is a STEM camp that will promote creative problem solving, STEM application, innovation, and confidence. Local educators will facilitate program modules with high school and college students serving as Leadership Interns.
Students participating in the program will engage in four challenges, that includes designing a remote-control bot, designing underwater equipment, and learning about patents.
