SUMMIT, NJ - Nadim Ahmed, currently President, Worldwide Markets for Celgene Corporation, has been elected to the National Board of Directors of Family Promise which, like Celgene, is headquartered in Summit.

“I am very honored to be joining the Family Promise Board, an organization that has taken on the challenge of homelessness on behalf of the most vulnerable members in our communities,” said Ahmed. “I look forward to being afforded the opportunity to serve families across the nation. I especially appreciate the way Family Promise delivers local housing solutions for families. By focusing on helping the family unit, Family Promise has the opportunity to positively impact so many lives.

Family Promise Board Chair Angela Schroeder said that Ahmed brings significant value to the organization. “Nadim will be a sterling asset to our National Board with his global strategic perspective and his deep empathy for the less fortunate. We very much look forward to welcoming him to our team."
