EDISON, NJ - Management & Training Corporation (MTC) has been awarded a 2-year contract - with the potential for three, one-year options - to operate the Edison Job Corps center. MTC was founded on Job Corps and currently operates 22 centers nationwide.
The contract was awarded by the U.S. Department of Labor.

Job Corps is a federal program administered by the Department of Labor and operated by companies like MTC. The Edison center is among 125 Job Corps centers in the country. MTC said Lonnie Hall has been selected as center director.
“Lonnie comes to Edison with extensive Job Corps experience.," said Intrepidi "He is a dynamic leader who sincerely cares about the welfare and success of each student. He was most recently the center director at the nation’s largest Job Corps center in San Marcos, Texas. Lonnie will do an outstanding job helping the young men and women in Edison prepare for success in their future careers.”
Edison Job Corps has the capacity to serve 329 students providing training in clinical medical assistant, nurse assistant, auto, carpentry, electrical wiring, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning, building construction maintenance, office administration, plumbing, culinary arts, computer technician, brick and masonry, and advanced career training.
