David LaPosta of Edison Dies At 43.

EDISON, NJ - David LaPosta, 43, of Edison went to sleep with angels on Wednesday, March 23, 2016.

Born and raised in Edison. David graduated from Edison H.S. and Middlesex County College. He was a supervisor for the Edison US Postal Service and later self-employed in Construction. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, playing ball, drawing, and reading the Bible.

He is predeceased by his father, Peter LaPosta in 2007.

He is survived by his mother, Linda White and step-father, Robert; former wife, MaryEllen LaPosta and their children, Crystal and her fiancé Billy, Dallas, & Kayla; grandchildren, Callie & Little Billy, and soon Anthony David; two brothers, Peter, Michael & his wife Jaye all of Edison; a sister, Clarissa White & her fiancé Jeremy Lynch of Metuchen; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at 10:30 am in the Costello-Runyon Funeral Home, 568 Middlesex Avenue (Rt. 27), Metuchen. Interment will be in St. Peter's Cemetery, 500 Somerset Street, New Brunswick. Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 29th from 2-4 & 7-9 pm.

East Brunswick Rabbi Charged with Engaging in Prostitution with a Child

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ - Aryeh Goodman, 35, the rabbi from the  East Brunswick Chabad Learning Center has been charged with one count of engaging in prostitution with a child and one count of endangering the welfare of a child.  He was one of thirty men charged with having sex with the teenager over a four-week period.

New Brunswick Prisoner Reentry Site to Open Tuesday

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ - Former Gov. Jim McGreevey, who has made prisoner reentry programs his major focus, will be on hand Tuesday to open a new site on Livingston Avenue. 

McGreevey runs the New Jersey Reentry Corporation (NJRC), a nonprofit agency serving court-involved individuals. The opening is set for 11 a.m. at  57 Livingston Avenue, Unit 3, New Brunswick, N.J.
