Dean Tan of Edison to Graduate Newark Academy, Head to Northwestern

LIVINGSTON, NJ - Edison resident Dean Tan is one of 101 high school seniors from Newark Academy in Livingston who will receive a diploma at Commencement Exercises on June 10.  At Newark Academy, Dean was an International Baccalaureate Diploma Candidate and he graduates with the International Baccalaureate diploma.

Tan is headed to Northwestern University.

Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at New York University Dr. Thomas Carew will deliver the keynote address. He is a distinguished teacher, researcher and educational leader whose research interests center on the behavioral, cellular, and molecular analyses of learning and memory, and information processing in identified neuronal networks.
