Creating a Fundraising Plan Workshop with Pat Bohse

Non-Profit Management Consultant, Pat Bohse will show you how to achieve your fundraising goals using the provided planning tools and processes to strategize raising funds for arts, history and cultural programs. A template for a fundraising plan will be provided and the discussion will include essential elements of grant writing.

Creative Communication Workshop with Shakira Johnson

Saturday, Dec. 10, 2016, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

Every nonprofit is looking for ways to reach their targets efficiently. This workshop will focus on the best strategies and resources for improving public relations, event planning and marketing efforts. Shakira Johnson is a veteran consultant that specializes in strategic communication, event management and creative branding.

Seasonal Traditions Holiday Program: The Township of Piscataway Celebrates 350 Years

Sunday, Dec. 11, 2016, 1-6 p.m.

Guests are invited to visit East Jersey Old Town Village for a host of activities to usher in the winter holiday season. Holiday carolers and storytellers will be there, along with Horse and Carriage rides. Seasonal Crafts will be available for children.

The programs are funded by the Middlesex County Board of Chosen Freeholders and the New Jersey Historical Commission, a Division of the Department of State.
