Edison Announces Road Closures and Traffic Restrictions for Barclays FedExCup

EDISON, NJ – Edison Township has announced road closures and traffic restrictions due to the upcoming Barclays FedExCup golf playoffs.

Beginning on Aug. 24 through the completion of the event which is the evening of Sunday, Aug. 30, the following road closures and traffic restrictions are in affect daily from from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.

Old Raritan Road between Woodland and Inman Ave.

Giggleswick Way residents must leave Giggleswick Way and proceed straight onto Delores out to Park Avenue. Right and left turns are prohibited onto Woodland Avenue.

Residents on the Edison side of Woodland Avenue will be issued special permits that will allow them to access their properties. South Plainfield made its own accommodations for residents who live on the borough's side of Woodland Avenue.

Regular on-street parking rules will remain in effect and will be enforced on all other Edison streets in the vicinity of the Plainfield Country Club, Sergeant Robert Dudash said.
