EDISON, NJ - Robert Herbert has been a dedicated and loyal employee for the Township of Edison since August 1, 2012.

Herbert was hired by the Township in the Engineering Department in the capacity of Assistant Zoning Officer. Since his undertaking of this role, Herbert has proven himself to be a highly focused and knowledgeable employee, as it relates to his position, and is quick to remedy situations that may arise.

Throughout his tenure, he has shown great leadership in helping the staff and residents with zoning issues in a highly professional, courteous and efficient manner and has a proven record of being a team player.

Nearly $900K Bid Received for Construction of New New Brunswick Park

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ - Only one company submitted a bid to build a new city park on land where three abandoned houses once stood.

A-Tech Concrete of Edison submitted a bid of $897,316.25 to construct a park on Welton Street, near Drift Street.

This was the only bid that city Purchasing Department received before the deadline this morning.
