Edison Boys Baseball 11U Eagles All-Star Team Wins the Cal Ripken Northern New Jersey District 9 Championship

EDISON, NJ - "On Wednesday July 6th, the Edison Boys Baseball 11U Eagles All-Star team won the Cal Ripken Northern New Jersey District 9 Championship game in the bottom of the 6th inning with a 5-4 win over runner up Franklin.

The boys went ahead early with a 4-0 lead but Franklin battled back to tie the game at 4-4 in the top of the 6th. A hard line drive RBI single by Ryan McDonough in the bottom of the inning sealed the win for the 11U Eagles.

 They are advancing to the state tournament which startsJuly 15th in Flemington, NJ. Good luck to all the boys!"
