EDISON, NJ – In an off year for elections at the municipal level, Edison voters will go to the polls tomorrow to vote in the primary election for Freeholder to Congressman
The Republican ticket of Robert Greene and Stephanie Bartfalvi for Middlesex County Freeholder are running unopposed in the primary election.
On the Democrat side of the primary election, incumbents Carol Barrett Bellante and Charles Tomaro are being challenged by fellow Democrat Jay Mody.
Voter turnout it expected to be light with only party affiliated registered voters able to voter in the primaries.
According to the most current Statewide Voter Registration Summary over 50% of county residents are Unaffiliated with Democrats accounting for 36% and Republicans at 12% of registered voters
