EDISON, NJ – As part of Health and Safety Day at Middlesex County College, members of the Edison Fire Department paid a visit to the College Child Care Center.

The children learned about fire safety from Edison Firefighter Daniel Wood who explained to the children what they should do in case of a fire. The children had the opportunity to sit in a fire truck, learn about some of the equipment, and watch as a high-pressure hose blasted water on the campus.

In addition to the Edison Fire Department, dozens of human service and safety agencies came to campus to help students, faculty and staff learn about how to make their lives healthier.
