EDISON, NJ - The Edison High School boys basketball team recently concluded its most successful season in 17 years, and Abu Kaikai was a big part of that.

That success, which included 15 victories, is reflected in the selection of Kaikai, a senior forward, to the Greater Middlesex Conference's first team.

Kaikai averaged 13.5 points and 9.9 rebounds for Edison (15-12), which reached the quarterfinal round of the GMC Tournament and lost there by six points to top-seeded St. Joseph.

Tyrese Conover of J.P. Stevens was named to the All-Red Division team of the GMC. A senior guard, Conover averaged 14 points, 4.1 assists, and 2.1 steals for the Hawks (12-13).
