According to the release, the new restaurant, located at 1100 Route 1, is circulating 7,500 coupons throughout the community offering a free regular sub for a minimum $2 donation to Edison High School.  Customers must have a coupon to be eligible.

“We are excited to open our group’s sixth location, this one in Edison,” Rigassio said. “For our grand opening, we are partnering with Edison High School, and distributing over 10,000 free sub cards with a $2 donation throughout the community. Growing up as a kid down the shore, eating Jersey Mike’s my whole life, and am now being able to bring my love for the sandwiches into the Central New Jersey area is a dream come true.”

Rigassio, Nisbet, Lovisolo, and Stathis are exemplary Jersey Mike’s franchise owners who share the company’s commitment to quality products and exceptional customer service, and who are dedicated to giving back to the local community, the release said.

Since 2010, Jersey Mike’s locations throughout the country have raised nearly $18 million for worthy local charities and have distributed more than 1.5 million free sub sandwiches to help numerous causes, according to the company.

This year, the company’s 6th Annual Jersey Mike’s Month of Giving in March raised more than $4 million for 180 charities throughout the country.

Started in 1956, Jersey Mike’s now has 1,500 restaurants open and under development nationwide, according to the company.

In 2016, for the third year in a row, the company was named the #1 fastest growing chain in the Nation’s Restaurant News Top 100, and continues to win best sub awards in virtually every market it enters, the release said.

The restaurant’s hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., seven days a week.  You can contact this location directly at 732-515-9881.

Jersey Mike’s, a fast-casual sub sandwich franchise with more than 1,500 locations open and under development nationwide, believes that making a sub sandwich and making a difference can be one and the same, according to the company.

Jersey Mike’s offers A Sub Above®, serving authentic fresh sliced subs on freshly baked bread – the same recipe it started with in 1956 – and is passionate about giving back to its local communities, the release said.
