Edison Library Opens Brand New Edison Maker Space

Edison, NJ, What is the Edison MakerSpace? The Edison MakerSpace is a creative workshop designed for the community to explore and invent. The Edison MakerSpace will help provide the community with access to unique tools and equipment! Preview the cutting edge tools and equipment available in the Edison MakerSpace such as our 3D Printer, Raspberry Pi, Arduino Kits and so much more!

The Edison MakerSpace Grand opening is on Saturday April 9th 2016 from 11 am to 1 pm.

Come by and learn more about the amazing new technology and resources available to the community. Raffle Prizes will be given out throughout the event and refreshments will be available throughout the Grand Opening!

Registration is open to the community on www.edisonpubliclibrary.net. Community members can also register by phone at (732)548-3045.

East Brunswick Rabbi Charged with Engaging in Prostitution with a Child

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ - Aryeh Goodman, 35, the rabbi from the  East Brunswick Chabad Learning Center has been charged with one count of engaging in prostitution with a child and one count of endangering the welfare of a child.  He was one of thirty men charged with having sex with the teenager over a four-week period.

New Brunswick Prisoner Reentry Site to Open Tuesday

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ - Former Gov. Jim McGreevey, who has made prisoner reentry programs his major focus, will be on hand Tuesday to open a new site on Livingston Avenue. 

McGreevey runs the New Jersey Reentry Corporation (NJRC), a nonprofit agency serving court-involved individuals. The opening is set for 11 a.m. at  57 Livingston Avenue, Unit 3, New Brunswick, N.J.
