Edison Police Seek Missing Man

EDISON, NJ – Police are searching for a 25-year-old township man who was reported missing on Friday, Nov. 11 by his grandparents following an argument at their North Edison home, police said Wednesday.

Thomas Oliphant, 25, who is described as 5’ 9” tall and about 170 lbs., was last seen wearing jeans, a blue sweater and a blue baseball cap, police said.

Oliphant's grandmother told Officer Kashif Salahuddin that her grandson left her Forest Haven Boulevard home on Nov. 11 after a dispute with his grandfather.

His family's repeated attempts to reach him on his cellphone have been unsuccessful, police said.

Anyone with information regarding Oliphant's whereabouts should contact township police Detective Jeff Tierney at (732) 248-7400, police said.
