While the Middlesex CountyYoung Republicans were having a fun time at the Fox and Hound in Edison watching the debate, the Edison Republicans were at the Middlesex County Fair campaigning with the Middlesex County Clerk Candidate, Alex Barletta and Freeholder Candidate Jose Alonso of Edison. We passed out literature and even changed some folks from Democrat to Republican.

We joined the Middlesex County Republican Women's Club, selling patriotic jewelry and the highlight of the evening...the debate was live streamed in the booth.

There is real interest in the presidential field of Republican candidates which drew a huge crowd to our booth throughout the evening giving us a great opportunity to talk to folks about the 450 million dollars of our tax dollars spent every year by the freeholders and county clerk with no checks on them.  $76 million increase over the last 7 years.
