Find a Hidden Treasure at the 4-H Flea Market

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ - Looking for some good bargains or to sell off some items you no longer need? You may find just what you’re looking for at the Middlesex County 4-H Flea Market.

The event is scheduled for Saturday, May 20 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the 4-H Youth Center, 645 Cranbury Rd., East Brunswick. The rain date will be May 21.

A variety of vendors will sell new and used items, from crafts to collectibles.  Refreshments and children’s entertainment also will be available.

If you are interested in becoming a vendor at this event, please contact Vickie Parker at 732-398-5261 or by email at victoria.parker@co.middlesex.nj.us.

Vending fees are as follows: $15 reserves a vending area, but you must provide your own table. $20 includes table rental. Proceeds from vendor registration will go toward 4-H programs.

“The 4-H Flea Market is a great opportunity for collectors and bargain hunters, but most of all, it allows vendors to give to a worthy cause,” said Middlesex County Freeholder Director Ronald G. Rios. “Please consider bringing your treasures to help our 4-H program.”

“The 4-H program of Middlesex County allows students to learn life skills and develop their natural talents,” said Freeholder Kenneth Armwood, Chair of the County’s Business Development and Education Committee. “I urge shoppers and vendors to attend this event: you may find that special item you’ve been looking for, and you’ll definitely find that 4-H will appreciate your help.”

4-H programs are open to all youth, grades 4-13, regardless of race, color, national origin, gender, religion, age, disability, political beliefs, sexual orientation, or marital or family status.
