Girls Lacrosse: J.P. Stevens Beats Mater Dei, 9-3

EDISON, NJ - The J.P. Stevens girls lacrosse team opened its season with a 9-3 victory over Mater Dei on Wednesday.

J.P. Stevens scored six unanswered goals in the first half to take command of the game. Morgan Dearing scored three goals and had one assist for the Hawks. Christina Rusk totaled two goals and three assists and Harshita Jain scored two goals and had one assist in the victory.

Maleeha Khan and Amanda Truong each netted one goal, and Jessie Racioppi made 10 saves for J.P. Stevens.
